Good thing I watched it instead read what you said.

Because he clearly didn't say that.
lol, what did he say then? Sounds like to me he said Andis performed better and gives a sharper line, it's quieter, and much cheaper. The only thing the Bevel had on it was aesthetics and being wireless.

Agreed.

I just think they made a huge mistake trying to make a "cool, hip" trimmer. No one cares what kinda trimmer you have, they just see your lineup. So if it doesn't work as well, there's really no incentive to get it over an Andis, even if they were the same price, much less it being more than double. Functionality and performance should've been their focus. It's like if someone tried to sell a $50 hair brush or $20/each condoms that didn't work any better than their competitors. Just dumb.
The cool hip thing definitely helps them in the short term. Most people will buy this without seeing a review or knowing what's up with the performance. But longterm once word gets out there, who knows whether they'll last. That's possibly why the price is so high, cash out fast, not a bad hustle.

meanwhile OP dont even own any clippers and he acting offended by the price of Bevel trimmers :mjlol:

question fam: which would you recommend between the oster 76 (that's not the one pictured i believe) and the andis master blackout?

i plan on buying the blackout andis t-outliner trimmers, and i intend on buying clippers to accompany it. For facial hair though; i'm growing my hair out.

(-anyone else in here can answer the Q though...)

76 are mainly for bulk. It cuts down the hair quicker. They are best for when you want to do all over even cuts. Andis master is for fading but you can take hair down with it. shyt you could fade with a 76 with the right blades(which are detachable) but you'll be better going with the Andis master.

you have to go over the line with a straight razor anyway who cares if the trimmer cuts a lil better (if it even does)

The one in the picture is the oster fast feeds. Between the oster 76 and the blackout masters I would recommend the masters. Very easy to do anything you want with it (all even cutting, tapers, fades) due to the adjustable lever. The 76 is a more of a professional clipper imo, like you in a barbershop cutting a lot of heads per day. It also doesnt have an adjustable lever so fades/tapers can be more tricky for novices like ourselves. For your own personal use The Masters or Fast Feeds is your best bet

What's the proper term for flipping the blade of the t liners up like the barber's do? I've been wanting to do that on mine for a minute.

I prefer the fast feeds because they are lighter and don't get hot as fast(rotary motor). The only thing the masters has over the fast feeds are lines on the side of the lever.

But I said fukk it made my own lines on my fast feeds so I could keep track or where I'm at with the fading.

Mane just take your andis and wahl clippers to your local barber and pay him to sharpen the blades on your clippers. Then stick to oil and cleaning regimens.

No need to keep up with the jones with some clippers and trimmers unless you're just a hypebeast or just like to flauge:snoop:

Since were on the topic:

What is the best set of clippers for a black man to shave his head bald like twice a week?

I don't mind price, but I still want the best deal:whoa:

Also, if there are not any adjustment to be made to the clippers, that would be great. Like right out of the box, close shave on a bald head.

Getting a haircut twice a week is too expensive. And I have brought the cheaper Andis or Wahl clippers from Walmart before, but they don't seem good or durable enough. They always end up breaking or not cutting as sharp. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with me though. And I don't want to have to "freak" the clippers. I just want a quality pair that I can give myself a baldy with twice a week
