The Jordan reselling market should have never been brought up in the first place.
If you wear the shoes, you aren't reselling them a few years later for double or triple. If you don't wear them then it's an investment. It's either or. Nobody is buying clippers to keep them on ice and resell them years down the line so why even bring that up?

Even if you wear them once or twice you can still sell em for a profit!!!! I know nikkas who do this and used to do it in the past when I was in HS. I dont think the resell game is as crazy as it was then but i know nikkas that still do it

and again, a lot of nikkas buy MULTIPLE pairs so they can keep one and sell the rest and essentially get the shoes for free + make some change

and its not just J's or Yeezy's theres other sneakers too that are in demand. When I was in HS that was when the SB's were in their prime (resell market was crazy:ohlawd:)

Plenty of nikkas do this!!! More than you guys are assuming thats for sure

I know the resell market is massive. I'm not arguing that at all. I know it's supposedly died down recently too, but it's still a big problem. I know brehs do all that shyt you're taking about and it s a good hustle.

My point is that this has nothing to do with clippers. There are no limited edition clippers. People aren't lining up (no pun intended) Saturdsy mornings to cop the latest clippers and flip them on eBay.

People buy clippers to use them until they no longer work. The overwhelming majority of people who wear J's do the same. If you wear J's for a year straight, you aren't selling them for double or triple.

So why are we even taking about this? It's apples and oranges.

I think Wahl has an adjustable liner out now.

That said 200 for liners isn't a good price.

shyt better come adjusted and blade replacements..
U can adjust the trimmer without having to unscrew it. It goes cordless and wired. High end motor built in. Not sure if it comes with extra blades tho. And there's trimmers out there than cost more than 200.

ya i feel you i dont even agree that the Bevel should be cheaper i think its at a good price point for a premium product. I understand nikkas want it to be cheaper but I dont think Nas even sets the prices:yeshrug:

Have you read the site? I have a T-outliner and been using it for 5+ years, you don't have to adjust the Bevel the old fashion way (screw driver and glass/granite table) if you've ever done this you know it's aggravating as fukk, this has a adjustable dial, bevel has a protective coating that minimizes residue build up, I've bought 4 andis blades in about 5 years cause they eventually rust out after cleaning and natural use because they don't have any kind of coating the bevel is saying you won't have that issue... I will say, andis got them on SPM, everything else seems superior on paper, never tried Bevel though.

I've had an andis t outliner for about 5 years now. The time and difficulty regarding adjustment(zero gapping) of the blade has been exaggerated in this thread and I've only had to repurchase a blade 4 times in that time span and and never because of rust as the andis oil undermines that issue for me. In terms of the overheating most barbers I follow either use the Wahl detailer which doesn't overheat or they do the homemade remedy by sawing off the top part of the andis. If auto zero gapping and anti-residue blades are the main elements justifying the price tag then I don't personally think it is worth it. But the market is subjective and so if others feel that those two elements justify a $200 price tag I will be pleasantly surprised, but given the aforementioned workarounds barbers have constructed over the years I am highly skeptical.

can i get that zero gap on any electric trimmer? like to $20 to $50 ones u see in cvs/walgreens ?? :ohhh:

Oh just stop with this modified trimmer shyt.
That is for someone who is untrained.
They have blades for andis trimmers.
or you can buy the single out and actually modify it.
They actually sell the #ooooo out blades for an andis, separate now as well.
Only mod you need for a andis single out or double out blade that takes a screw driver and an old blade settings screwed down.
Past that you don't need to touch the standard 3mm blade on a t liner or outliner.

nikkas amateurs taken out blade alignment and bullshyt.
If this shyt don't come with detechable blades there is not price point to justify this asking price.
Yet and still on that website for pre-orders there is no ready FAQ with a solid link that is easily discernible and readily able to be clicked and I find that to be bullshjt with the price point, too.

..What other liner has that?

None,....and why would I pay $200.
when for a hundo at sally's where I can make an exchange like a real store.
I can get a style line ii blade and mod it and a gtx that has no mod and be ready to go.

Plus, if you are a barber, a real professional licensed barber.
You would more than likely have spare parts around for a style liner ii.
which is just a blade setup and a small screw for a mod on a style liner ii.

I ain't even a pro barber and I mod'd a style liner ii blade for a standard outliner ii or t liner housing.
So, why would a pro barber pay for some shyt he has spare parts around and can do on the cheap. With an andis product as well.

I haven't seen any trimmer that cost more than 200. But for 200 you shouldn't have to adjust it.

I personally own the Bevel shaving kit. Really dope IMO. You can get a better deal on a double edge razors on amazon but I wanted to support and people have it good reviews.
