I think they're angry about the game being a copy and trace of Nier Automata with a main character in EVE who's supposed to have A2's personality with Bayonetta's look. Even down to having a British accent and some of the clothing options can make her look like Bayonetta. It's borderline plagiarism.

It's a bit hard to explain without ruining it.
Droid gets pod dropped to earth on a mission to annihilate monsters that have taken over the world hundreds of years after the end of civilization.
Makes friends, does missions for strangers and learns to fish in the process.
Mixed that up with Nier like Soundtrack and Sekiro deflection and parrying combat in the body of a thick combat Droid, and Boom...Stellar Blade.

I'm at the endgame.
I give it a 9 out of 10.
1 point off for platforming, but seeing as it's their first action joint, I'll let it slide.
