Black women's hair care is one of the saddest affairs in the world today.

It's not harder to manage, it's that many black women don't know how to properly care for their hair.... far too many women go to people who do hair, but don't know what they're really doing.
my hair is almost mid-back when fully straight...and i have no issues with breakage,split ends or any of that shyt.
All I know is if I ever have a daughter she aint gettin her hair permed. Don't want her goin out bald headed when she get older.

Yeah but my hair was nappy as fukk, trust me not all Ethiopian chicks got that good hair they suffer just like the AA sistas. My younger female cousins all hit the good hair jackpot without perming so I'm banking on that if I have a daughter and if its nappy she gettin dreads.

of course chemicals and heat are a problem, but you should see the tight ass braids and ponytails so many black women subject themselves to. ive known so many girls with that one inch pony tail that was pulling their skin all the way back. you do that every day and it will fukk your scalp up

You ever notice how so many of these females "went natural" by their junior/senior year in college or right after graduation? they shyt started to fall out because they were getting perms and weaves from bytches in they dorms who didn't really know how to do shyt.
A lot of black females never really learn how to take care of their own hair... by the time they hit their teens, all they know is braids,weave, and over processed perm.

My cousin that be rappin made a funny remark about that shyt on one of his songs. shyt was so true, they tryna swag that shyt out after years of mismanagement. I don't mind it cuz I love the natural look, but I hope this puts an end to the abusive behavior our black women have used on their hair.
