Idk the difference. I just wanna phone that functions. It seems like everybody I know whose into IT or something always has an Android. Apparently they are capable of more. This one chick I know whose in IT tried to explain the difference. “With Androids you can get more apps and the components allow you the capability to...wamp wamp wamp”

Cant tell if the bolded is sarcasm seeing as how apple intentionally slows down older phones after new upgrades to force you to buy new ones.
Apple has even admitted this, its not like its a conspiracy.
You wanna see true slowness, get an apple phone 2-3 genetations old and update to the latedt os version....
Not entirely correct. Apple slows your phone down. But only after your battery reached a certain percentage where if the clock speed ramps up too high on the phone it can shut it off. Get the battery replaced and the issue goes away.
iOS 12 for instances brought new life into my old 5s I have laying around. And that phone came out in 2013. That's 5 years of support. You just not getting that with other companies.

I had a similar experience when my job issued me a Galaxy S...Android blows iOS out of the water in usability and I was hooked. But as time went on I started to see the little instabilities and things that I never dealt with on iOS and I bushed the phone and got a second number on my iPhone for work. iOS for me was like a long marriage...it was always consistent and always there so I started to get bored...the other ladies started to look appealing and I was fiending for something I thought I was missing. I finally found a chick, smashed, and went running back to my wife because my fling showed me all the things I was taking for granted. iPhone XR gang.
Things I never had to worry about with iPhone:
- Does the person I'm going to text have the same chat app as me?
- Is my Carrier and/or Manufacturer going to allow me to download the new OS update when it releases?
- Is Apple spying through all my data to better target ads to me?
- I wonder if this new app is available for the version of iOS I have installed seeing that I will not be able to upgrade.

got a S9+ last year damn near free n got an Xs for a low price. Had a few months to compare.

Rocking the Xs mainly for imessage, carplay(i drive a lot), and stability. dont plan on getting another phone till 2023 when they stop supporting this one. Since Sam dont support their phones that long Im gonna pass this one to a family member eventually. I will say tho, as an overall phone, the S9+ prolly the best phone i ever used out the box. but both these phones are good. both got their strengths n weaknesses.
i aint compare the cameras cuz all the pictures look the same to me at this point
Sam S9+ Pros:
- More features like running multiple apps at the same time(having google maps open in a small window while doing other shyt on the phone, same with youtube, etc)
- battery life lasted forever. swear i could use the shyt outta the phone n still come home with 72%.
- Android just about as easy to use as iOS. it aint 2011 no more.
- bigger selection of apps
- throw in an SD card instead of paying out the ass for larger storage.
- No fukk ass notch
- better drop down menu for quick access options
- Google Maps still the kings of the Navigation shyt
- Connected to bluetooth in car fast than iphone Xs
- Android Auto voice commands better than Carplay(when Android Auto Connects)
- i like the look of my lilac purple
S9+ compared to my Gold Xs. - Dropped the phone many times and not a crack. this thing is sturdy
- the price was right(but the S10+ n others look like they embracing apples price model now)

Sam S9+ Cons:
- Messaging still sucks when sending gifs n shyt. RCS messaging supposed to be dropping but it aint here yet. Android messages and Sam messages still aint encrypted
- still malware in the google play store
- still some bloatware on the Sam. better than the Touch Wiz Days but still noticeable.
- Android Auto dont always connect. and sometimes it disconnects. tried different cables, even tried other peoples Galaxies. Still would have shyt disconnect for no reason or not connect at all sometimes. And i couldnt leave my phone plugged in when the car turned off or my car would forget the bluetooth settings for some reason and id have to manually reconnect the phone to bluetooth and then plug it back in for android auto. id get pissed if i turned my car off n saw my phone still plugged in cuz i knew what time it was about to be
- Sam still bullshyttin on updating to latest google OS in time.
- Sam still dont support their phones after a couple years
- Google's privacy concerns(more on android than Sams fault)
Apple Xs Pros:
- Running apps is smooth
- fast OS updates with security patches
- 5 year support for iOS updates
- Xs boots up faster than the S9+
- Apple Carplay.....so it aint as good as android auto...but....i never get issues with connections, random disconnects, or my car forgetting my phones bluetooth settings. No driving having a song stop playin cuz of a disconnect, and no re-entering bluetooth passcodes. i can leave that shyt plugged in while filling up gas n not worry about shyt. So while Andorid auto the better software to use, Carplay been more stable which is more important to me so carplay wins off that.
- imessage. not only goofin around sendin gifs to people or smileys but also end to end encryption is nice.
- apple is allegedly better with privacy and handling user data. i say allegedly cause we pretty much taking them at their word. they could have servers with all sorts of shyt for all we know. but for the sake of taking shyt at face value, they doin the privacy better than google. Allegedly
- App store aint got the malware google plays does
- This thing plays real nice with other apple devices.:nasalbumdone: aint even a comparison here Sam and google tryin with their computers n wearables but aint there yet
- This phone seems as sturdy as the S9+. apple claims its the strongest iphone ever. i believe em, aint bad.

- Last iphone i had was the 5. aint shyt changed hardly with the OS. this good or bad depending on who you ask but they could at least get multi app like google. and better customization
- this keyboard is 100% buns. trying to highlight words n copy n paste or edit shyt is a nightmare on this phone. its like it fights me non stop when i want to bold a word. I waited till i got home to make this post because i was out today with my iphone n didnt feel like goin through that bullshyt today

but hey they let you use google maps now. - Siri cant touch Google assistant
- its overpriced. but i didnt get anywhere near msrp. and i never will buy these phones at msrp.

- Still lookin for a deal on one so i can upgrade from this Xs to a 4s
