Can someone explain why Push (2009)...

Was so underrated/disliked?

It was a fresh sci-fi experience

The lore was concise the cinematography was stylish

Digimon Hounsou(with respeck )was a clean villian

All the characters and their back stories were engaging

I genuinely cared

It left so much to be desired

It was a good movie imo. Heavy slept on. I really like this as well as Wanted.

idk but I love this movie way more than I should for all the reasons you listed. Maybe it would have worked better as a series because the lore was tight, but Heroes was around at the time so maybe not.

That's probably why they they didn't make any noise. I remember the premise of both and recall being somewhat entertained but they're forgettable films. Plus they're starring two guys who just don't have the talent or star power to carry a movie by themselves.
