Can someone explain why white people are out here naming their kids after occupations?

Was down in Florida & heard this white woman yell her bad ass sons name out because he took off down an aisle. She was like: "Parker" I started laughing

These are actually common names.

Herb, D1ck,Jan, April, May, June, August, Heath, Max, Jack, Winter, Summer, Mercedes, Brooke, Frank, Cane, Abel..
