What country are you from. You can replace the lcd and install it yourself. Google your computer name and serial number and lcd.

england. what do i do about it being snapped in half? the wires are completely disconnected. after i punched it i snapped it in half and threw it at my wall.

Wires do not mean anything because those are from you snapping your lcd; and on top of that your lcd is crack. so basically there almost useless. You snapped it in half; you just destroyed your lcd; but throwing you labtop against your wall is not good because you could have damaged your hardware.

Depending on your model and how old your lab top is the lcd could cost as much as a new labtop. Depends on where you can find one at.

There should a cover on the back of the laptop.

Unscrew it you should see the hard drive.

You can always buy an USB adapter laptop to get the stuff off.

One thing you could try; is to connect you tv to you labtop or buy a cheap computer monitor and hook it up to there
