Can Someone Logically Explain To Me What Made '01 Kobe Better Than '15 Harden Offensively?

Carrying this debate from another thread. Statistically they're pretty much even. Kobe had the most dominant post player of the last 25 years to help him. Harden had Dwight. Harden got faded in the WCF but he had one game in which he couldn't be stopped.

I know what Kobe did that year but offensively what's the disparity? Compare the stats before you start talking shyt. I've been called a Harden hater but OFFENSIVELY he had a very good season.

Well,

2001-2002 season Kobe Bryant had 223 turnovers.

2014-2015 season James Harden had a league-leading 321 turnovers.

So, there's that.
How many more assists did Harden have tho? Take that into account. Thanks for being logical tho. I know posters after you will spew non-logical anger.

This thread is terrible. Kobe was better than dude.

I think harden is a better three point shooter much more willing passer but that's where it stops. Hardens numbers look good on paper and he might be looked at better than he is years from now by people that never watched him play. But people who actually watched Harden play know how fraudulent his numbers are. :scusthov:

So its all about eye tests and not stats? In this stat based climate we should ignore them for nostalgia sake?

:wtf:

Kobe was better, he had a mid-range game and was better at creating offense for himself within the 3 point line.

From 10-16 feet
Kobe - 46%
Harden - 30%

He was a much better finisher at the rim than Harden as well :ld:
Kobe was a shytty 3pt shooter tho. Midrange shots is the worst shot in basketball.

Uh, no.

The long two is the worst shot in basketball, which is between 17-23 feet, a mid-range shot is between 12-17 feet.

Most teams have a PF that makes mid-range shots, ie. Speights.
