Can someone please explain to me how Breaking Bad is considered the GOAT show?

Breaking Bad was good but the GOAT? no way imo.

One of the unspoken reasons for the shows huge success late in it's life is white guys found their anti hero. A nerd who becomes a massive drug boss.

That fantasy is potent. Go to certain forums and see how many white boys have walt avatars.

I don't mind people putting those shows above BB, but BB is on the exact same tier imo. There is a reason it has a 9.5/10 on IMDB. Comparatively the wire has a 9.3/10, Sopranos a 9.2/10, Game of Thrones 9.5/10. I feel like people forget how good breaking bad was since the show has been over and done with. Ozymandias is one of the most incredible episodes of television ever created. BB wasn't censored that much, I mean, for fukks sake it's a show about making methamphetamine.

IMDB ratings have no credibility anymore. A few years ago The Wire had a 9.7 and The Sopranos had a 9.6, then a bunch of BB and GOT fanboys went on downvoting sprees

The season finale of Sopranos season 4 has like a 5.0 even tho most would agree it featured the GOAT display of acting ever seen on TV

Still don't get the Wire hype either *ducks tomatoes*
