The social aspect of black music has nothing to do with his post. He was stating that the DJ is the backbone of hip hop which it is. Part of what makes rap music rap music is the use of the turntable as an instrument. For the record tho I have no problem with younger cats taking this artform and doing what they want with it as long as they respect the cultureDo what?

Stop lying to yourself...that was a bullshyt PR for people to buy shytty rap artists music that the labels were pushing on the radio and the fans. The females love it. Females control hip hop now. So if females want smart MCs we would have it.
Think what you want. It's reason you can't play rap with dope lyrics at a party. Females can't dance to that stuff. Just think about it back that ass up is ten times more lyrical then half the shyt the young cats put out. But it had a catchy beats so the females did not mind twerking to it.Stop lying to yourself...that was a bullshyt PR for people to buy shytty rap artists music that the labels were pushing on the radio and the fans.
Just becuz a dude says he prefers his hip hop to be centered around the MCing and Djing doesn't mean he's white it just means he's old and closed mindedHes right breh

I bless y'all ol nikkas w/ nothin but heat spittas day after day. They ain't hard to find. Problem is y'all don't actually give a fukk about rap music, you just want something to complain about. The problem is you dont even support the actual young artists under 25 who are spitten yoga flames. You kats contradict yourselves all day.

1. Wrong that myth was blown when many hiphop artists in the late 90s and early 2000s...from DMX, mos def, phorahe monch, busta rhymes and many others dropped party hits and women loved the songs in the club.Think what you want. Young bucks that know very little bout me. Vince is ok, Purp actually dropped something surprising an album i liked and Dave East been dope. Problem is you allowed your perception of old heads fog your vision. I stay listening to new artists everyday...over 6 months and have listen to 450 albums. Some shyt garbage, some shyt dope.

Another myth...women been listening to hiphop for both for decades, you fed into the newer generation thought process because the labels told you and you believed them.
What I'm saying is females only love hip hop for the beats, lyrics is a man thing. Just think in all your years of living have you heard a female say man that rapper got bars? Or heard a female say wow that rapper just said a triple entendre
It's well known the females and male minds think different.
Believe it or not, Hip-hop is actually the art form that requires the most intelligence. The structured way that some rappers convey their thoughts is pure genius.
Sadly tho, judging off of most mainstream music and artists who are given the biggest platform, few people would associate "intelligence" with the hip-hop genre.
