Ok... Ok... sorry.... I aint mean to laugh...... Let me try and break something down to you cus I don't know if you 18, 13 or 30.... ( I pray to GOD you not above 16:sadcam:)...

You see..... This thing called the "radio", is all pretty much controlled by ONE conglomerate.... CLEAR CHANNEL

Clear Channel, is in business for ONE REASON AND ONE REASON ONLY..... to make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Clear Channel makes money, by having advertisers pay for advertising spots....

THE MORE PEOPLE LISTENING TO THE RADIO.... THE MORE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ CLEAR CHANNEL CAN CHARGE THESE ADVERTISERS FOR ADVERTISING SPOTS......

You following me???

IF WAYNE IS ON EVERY SONG ON THE RADIO.... THAT MEANS IT'S CUS PEOPLE WANT TO LISTEN TO HIM.... EVERY ARTIST WANTS HIM ON THEIR SONG.... BECAUSE HE'S BRINGING THEM INTEREST AND CLEAR CHANNEL IS GOING TO PLAY ALL HIS SONGS BECAUSE ITS BRINGING IN THE MOST LISTENERS WHICH MEANS WAYNE IS BRINGING IN THE MOST MONEY$$$$$$$$..............

Short version?: IF there is EVER an indication of how HOT a Rapper is, it's how much they are on RADIO..... I don't give a fukk if NONE OF THEM is his songs.... This may be an even bigger indicator than ALBUM SALES...

Again, I pray to GOD you 16 or younger, just a lil naive..... If you 19+... I'll pray for you bruh... it's gonna be a rough road ahead...:lolbron::lolbron:

#FactsOnly

Where's all this coming from? :dahell:

I know this. I'm just pointing out that he's on every damn song.

Take your condescending garbage somewhere else. :camby:

Ayo, first I snatched the streets then I snatched the charts
First I had they ear, now I have their heart
Rappers came and went, I've been here from the start
I seen them put it together, watched them take it apart
Seen the rovers roll up with ribbons
I seen them re-po'd, re-sold, then re-driven
So when I reload, he holds #1 position
When you hot I'm hot
And when your feet cold, mines is sizzling

It's plain to see, nikkas can't fukk with me
Cause I'm a be that nikka for life
This is not an image, this is God given
This is hard livin', mixed with Cristal sippin'
It's the most consistent, Hov
Give you the most hits you can fit inside a whole disc and
nikka I'm home on these charts, y'all nikkas visitin'
It's Hov tradition, Jeff Gordon of rap
I'm back to claim pole position, holla at ya boy

Realest shyt he ever spit. :wow:
as many careers he wrecked as def jam pres i am sure this would be prophetic

Don't forget the summer of 01 too. Debuted his Izzo single, took over Summer Jam, got Michael Jackson on stage with him, and shocked everyone with his Mobb Deep Takeover diss.

Possibly.... Yet, Outkast was the hottest from January 2001 - April or May 2001....

4/5 months to 3.... And Ms Jackson was the biggest song in the world in 2001 ... Stankonia sold 4 million to Blueprint's 2.7... So its not debtable that Outkast was HOTTER that year:myman:

:dead: @ posting facts being reaching for straws..... :deadrose:

So, that means jigga fans want to live in an alternate reality, where what actually HAPPENED doesn't matter, they want to create their own facts in their dilluted minds:heh::heh:

Any album that is labled a "classic", from get rich to doggystyle to dark and hell is hot to miseducation of lauryn hill to chronic to blueprint etc etc etc.... They are all labled classics by major publications, thats just a fact.... Publications + the fans decide what a "classic" is... 5 mics in the source used to be the SOLIDIFICATION of a classic.....

So to act like the FACT that Outkast got BETTER RATINGS across the BOARD, for 4 different publications that reviewed both albums, including rolling stone..... To act like that doesn't matter is just sour grapes...:ahh::ahh::ahh::ahh:

Jay is a false prophet... Deal with it... he loses in sales and music quality every go around....

And, ps, this is really reaching at straws.... Damn this shyt must hurt:scusthov:

-FACT - Biggie / Pac Dominated the 90s sales
-FACT - Eminem / Nelly Dominated the 2,000's sales
-FACT - Biggie, Pac, Eminem, 50, Luda, Nelly have more #1 hits than him
-FACT - Jay-Z sold the most albums only 1 year in his career, 2006 (Kindom come, worst album, top 5 players injured: 50, Kanye, Eminem, Wayne didn't drop albums)
-FACT - Eminem is the best selling rap artist of all time
-FACT - Biggie, Pac, Eminem average more platinum plaques per album than Jay
-FACT - Jay-Z only has the 16th best selling rap album of all time, Biggie, 2pac, Eminem all have albums in the top 10
-FACT - Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50 and almost Kanye, have all sold 1 million in their first week.. Something Jay-Z has openly said he wish he could do (but NEVER will)
-FACT - Lil Wayne has the most hits on the Billboard hot 100 of any rapper ever
-FACT - While Big / Pac were alive, Jay-Z never went better than platinum... He went Multi the year after Biggie released his last album.
-FACT - Jay-Z has 12 #1 albums... Graduation / Curtis were released on same day... Graduation #1 album.... Curtis #2 album.... American Gangster #1 album... Curtis outsold American Gangster. (translation, #1 album means NOTHING, the stats above are the meaningful stats)

Jay-Z on Tom Ford: "Numbers don't lie, Check the Scoreboard!"

I Checked the Scoreboard, he's down in ALL categories that matter:manny:

Dmx was opening for Jay-z on Jays tour, Jay had 1 album selling as much as 2(!) Dmx albums and Jay had hit singles + the fact that his second album dropped in the last week of 98.

Let me expand on that a bit so yall can truly understand how being "hot" is not as important as some of yall think:

1999 - DMX was the hottest, coming off two #1 albums, millions sold, all over the radio etc., he still opened for Jay on the "Hard Knock Life Tour" every night.

2003 - 50 Cent was the hottest, coming off GRODT, millions sold, all over the radio etc., he still opened for Jay on the "Roc the Mic Tour" every night.

2008 - Lil Wayne was the hottest, coming off C3, million in the first week, all over the radio etc., he still opened for Jay at “Power105.1′s Powerhouse” later in the same year.

2010 - Eminem, need I say more? Arguably the biggest rap superstar ever in terms of sales and popularity knows that Jay has to close Yankee Stadium, as Jay knew Em had to close Comerica. Who else in the rap game could possibly follow Em?

Yall could go ahead and argue about the "hottest", anyone in their right mind knows that it's best to have the overall consistent career, so the next "hot" rapper will always have to bow down.
