You don't think so? you better go watch Royal Rumble 2015 again, kiddo. Roman was alright until they made him the Wrestler of the Year or whatever that bull$hit was at the Slammys 2014. Str8 up nonsense...Punk doing that podcast saying "make him look strong" and Bryan returning for the Rumble changed Roman's career with fans. Ain't been the same since. And Mizdow was definitely more over in the aftermath of all of that.

Getting pops is not the same thing as being over.

Yeah, Sandow was pretty average in the ring. Thing is he was able to get over really silly gimmicks so he is clearly talented when it comes to working a character. Those type of guys are harder to come by nowadays so throwing someone like Sandow to the bushes for no real reason was kinda weird. I don't think he should ever be main event material, but he's the kind of wrestler that can add a lot to the midcard.

I'm glad he's gone. Want to see what he can do in a different environment, hopefully he stays far away from TNA.

Yeah there's plenty of talent they could've :camby: before Sandow Sandow alone >>>>>>> those corny Social Outcast clowns no one cares about
The fact that he didn't join them should've shown the end was coming. I'm sure I said this in their debut too. He would've been the perfect mic leader with Heath cosigning and Rose making it all :wrist: and weird.

Could've been the next Edge early in his career or the next HHH-hybrid that wasn't as 2 dimensional or boring on the mike. Dudes vocabulary game was probably unparalleled.

It was just a full waste. He did have the size for the ME if he was fully over. You don't give a person MITB to do the shyt WWE did afterwards. It was a tremendous waste of airtime to get someone nearly that over and then shyt on them that hard. The title would've made him a Savage heel easily imho.

He only has one memorable match, IMO. Against Cena. He got over as hell as MizDow but once the break up happened, they never did a proper blow off to the feud and then he was back to just being Sandow and no one cared anymore.

So weird to think that he had two different runs in the company equaling about 10 years or so.

That's what sucks about the wasted Sandow MITB win too Cody was over as fukk with the crowd and they were wanting Cody to go over and Cody got his legs cut out from under too and has never recovered.

In the ring: he was average. Character wise: he was extremely versatile and always found ways to be entertaining. The only memorable match he had was the Cena match which was posted earlier.

Only chance he got was the Cena match...people keep citing it like it was a detriment. When Shawn Michaels was a uncover hack after he turned, they kept pushing him and pushing him. Even years later when fans were with Razor more during their rematch. So all that one match whining is just booking. He didn't get what Sheamus got and fans damn sure don't see Sheamus as anything in the ring, no matter what the IWC says.

Just a dude that got sent down to developmental because he was a stud, but looked too much like Edge. Changed his look, and still had the athleticism, but primed himself to stand apart, which mostly was mic skills and extra shyt on his moves. Then he was brought up as H's proxy or redux and given a chickenshyt heel moveset. Note, that this is obviously the period Vince is priming Paul to maybe take over, and letting him groom most of the moves.

Got over on the mic and extras shyt. Still caught in the doldrums of the Vince "push but can't commit unless he wants to fukk said wrestler" era, he was an instant success, and enough to get the prestigious MITB. Would be the highest point, when he was having a mercurial ascension, he would ever get.

I can't say he was average in the ring, as his early work says he was capable of a lot more and he was crisp. Feeling him or not, he was just a wasted opportunity. Movesets aren't usually solidified until you're cemented in either the ME or mid-card. He looked primed for ME to me, and a face turn, or heel shyt, would've likely expanded his moveset to old. He has obvious stamina and agility, with ring psych.

One also must take into considering the difference in pre and post wellness era Sandow
