Do you like mission-less building and crafting and are you GOOD at using in game environment editors? Go for it. If not? Don't get it and buy D4.
$20 is a good look. It's like everything else in life though, it's not for EVERYONE. I spent countless hours with it when it first came to console, and then a lot more time when it came to PS4. It's essentially a huge box of virtual legos. No story, no direction. Just pick up blocks and move them around. The only real limitation is your imagination. There's tons of youtube videos you could watch to see the types of crazy stuff people build.It's only $20
I'll check those videos out. Sounds crazy lol
The height of this game will be showing someone else what you built, and unless they are a minecraft player who can appreciate the time it took, you are pretty much going to get the "so what" face every time.

i copped a long time ago and the only fun i had with it was joining other peoples servers and blowing their creations up with TNT and pouring lava all over their interiors

Dark Dreams Don't Die. I believe it's $15 on the Xbox Store and it's been out for a while. If you have Kinect, it's a REALLY good adventure game to experience. It's fukking mental.

the pain of dying ... going back to get the shyt that dropped and dying again after you made it back
then doing it 3 more times to only save a bucket and some sticks
That game is for 13 year olds breh. I sub at a local high school sometimes and when I have to do computer lab duty some kids will literally not eat lunch and sit in the lab and play minecraft for an hour straight. Them and all they nerdy ass friends circle jerking over virtual blocks.
Like don't get me wrong i'm absolutely fascinated by the idea of a game that's only limitation is your imagination, but not when it's packaged as an online Lego box. I need a game like that for adults
