Can someone school on why Dan Quinn is a top head coach prospect?

He shouldn't be.

That Seattle team dominates on talent not scheming.

Go ask the Jags how great a Seattle DC makes for a head coach.

Jets gonna scoop him up and flop again
All dominant teams dominate on talent. Why penalize or marginalize Quinn because of his talent level?

By your logic, any good team with a coordinator should be DQ'd because of what they have to work with. Would you rather have Quinn say "fukk this, let me go be DC of the Titans so I can prove how great I am?"

Yeah I thought gus did a good job with jax this year. They are young and seem to play tough. People on here are too quick to fire coaches. Success takes time.

Only reason you had this stance is cause the Jets were looking at him.

Don't even pretend like that isn't the case here.

Any coordinator with 2 years of work, who was handed an all star team isn't one to be trusted as HC yet.

Gase/Quinn are the same fukking go, I got no faith in either of them being a good HC

No one is saying fire Gus Bradley, so no one is quick to fire coaches.

Difference is, I think people are too quick to want to hire a coach. Everyone wants the next big thing, and they`ll latch onto anyone related to success to get it

Plenty of people are quick to fire coaches, so yes coaches get the axe too quick often. It takes time to implement your system.

GMs want a Pete Carroll clone after seeing his success, they think that since hes worked with him and is coaching defense (Pete's specialty) that he could have a similar impact on a young team, I dont blame them :yeshrug:

:dahell: Gus Bradley was the next great hope 2 years ago and hasn't done shyt in Jacksonville. Why are people ignoring this? Quinn turned Seattle's defense from #4 to #1 in the league. nikkas acting like he been putting in work and turning defenses around for years. :dahell: Not to mention Seattle was his first NFL DC job.

Yo...are you saying this because you think Atlanta is gonna hire him?

Cause that's damn sure what I think, dawg. In fact, in my opinion EVERY DAY that they don't hire someone makes me think that they are targeting dude, casue they be speaking about him like dude is Beli or summ (although I HEAR they are really high on Josh McDaniels, too).

Ray Horton, I was wondering what happened too, but I guess between the :mjpls: policy of the nfl, his public figurative fukk you to AZ for not hiring him, and being with two teams these past two seasons...one of which defense got worse, he's not turning any heads at the moment.

That has nothing to do with it. The ideal offensive mind wasn't out there to be had.
