Can the conspiracy theorists get their own sub-forum?

It's pathetic that all of these good threads are getting hijacked by delusional a$$holes who think they've "lifted the blinds" and are "critical thinkers" amongst "sheeple" (because following 30-minute-long youtube slideshows is much better than following actual news outlets).

It really brings down the quality of discussion.

It's getting to the point where perfectly good threads are getting derailed because a certain subset of posters is only interested in calling people sheep and discussing their pet conspiracies. It'd be beneficial for the forum to let them do this in a subsection since they clearly aren't willing to stay in the conspiracy thread.

A) There's a conspiracy thread which most of that stuff is merged into when I or BP around.

B) Since the inception of this board I have consistently bumped bad threads of the first page manually using board functions. Unfortunately, posters consistently respond to these people they can't stand and bring the threads back up and "free post" and joke in there.

This is why last year when Broke Wave said I had been coming across as annoyed, he was right. I was, and it's because I was getting complaints while the people complaining empowered those people. That is why. Every single supposed conspiracy thread won't be tossed in 5 minutes either because we're not online or because we have to figure out what to do with and where the person is coming from. But when we do act, I'd appreciate it if everyone else actually ignored them. HL has a habit of feeding trolls.

The recent NSA leaks are very interesting to me and I'd like to be able to discuss them but everything gets merged into a giant thread. The thread is littered with Alex Jones YouTube links and other conspiracy garbage which drowns out any meaningful dialogue.

There is not this vast amount of conspiracy stuff going on in the larger thread unless it's happened in the past 24 hours. The stuff that gets merged in there is continuing conversations being had in there. Again, if you had a legitimate (or illegitimate complaint), one of the moderators is always online. You can just PM us. But making false claims does not play well.

If you have something to say about Snowden and the NSA that is original it almost never gets merged until the thread is about to die because I like to keep a library of discussion. That's about it. What's frustrating is that @Brown_Pride took the time to create the system at the top of this board and members agreed to it and then no one uses it and comes to complain later. BP has a family, I work from 9 to 7. We're not going to see everything. But we'll see your complaints guaranteed if you bring it directly to our attention.

- When you reply, quote, post, or otherwise create a new entry in a thread the magic that is the coli places that thread at the top of the forum. As a rule of thumb if you find something so damn ignorant that it doesn't warrant a reply...THEN DON'T FUKIN REPLY.

- In the event someone keeps bumping their own wack asz thread that you've so dutifully avoided and you get the urge to feel like a good citizen simply place an @Brown_Pride or @BarNone with a message saying, "troll" and we'll look into it.

- Direct all other complaints to Bar None

SOrry i should have displayed a more professional attitude.

And i wasn't being sarcastic based on the infrequent use of the "troll system" and the ever constant stream of complaints about trolls I assumed most people just don't know how it works. IF i had the time to put on a production with puppets and/or stick figures i'd do it, alas i do not.
