I didn't realize the Spurs had a little bit of cap space to work with this offseason. They could conceivably sign a max type player but we know that's not the Spurs way. Either way I expect them to be in the hunt again next year.

if spurs kept jackson they'd be nba champions right now
he is the EXACT player they needed in the miami series
This was their last chance

They had a pretty easy run because of the lakers and OKC injuries, dallas took a year off for once in 12 years. memphis and golden state were never serious threats to beating them. the west is gonna improve next year and duncan's gonna be another year old. manu and parker always injured too. unless they add some solid new players, they probably get eliminated in da second round

Captain Jack would have helped in the finals. But its his fault he wasn't on the roster come playoff time. Which sucked for them because even though he sucked in the regular season, he is a playoff performer.

Ehh he's more than that he can defend, and I think he can make the layups but I would think it's more jitters than anything, either way he''s going to have an increased role next year.

:scusthov: NO he's not. In this offense he's been nothing more than a jumpshooter. Of course he can hit layups, every single guy in the NBA has hit layups, but it doesn't mean shyt if you don't do it consistently, which he doesn't because that isn't his game.

The only reason this guy has gotten any attention is because the Heat played atrociously bad defense on the perimeter. There's a reason why once they stopped sagging off and denying him the ball, getting in his face, he couldn't create anything off the dribble and he couldn't hit anything other than a completely open jumpshot.

he's developed into a good defender though

but offensively, yeah he is just a spot up shooter. nikka can't even make layups and his handles are :snoop:

He's a smart defender, but so are a lot of random guys on the Spurs. I'm not talking about his defensive skillset, that's irrelevant. That's not what makes someone a star in the eyes of most people. I'm just seeing people claim he's some kind of upcoming star just because hit a bunch of wide open jumpshots and it's exposing a lot of people

With a weak front-line, Thunder isn't going to the final until they can get a better center beside Perkins and utilize Ibaka more in the offense. Next season, the Spurs is going run the west again like they did in both regular season and playoffs.

I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. :heh: Tell me what any of this post has to do with Leonard's defense, then again, I don't know which player you're referring to
Are you okay? The post I quoted was about Danny Green. You said he's nothing but a jumpshooter. People tried to tell you he's a good defender, which he is, and you were scoffing at it.

:mjlol: Like I'm supposed to remember some random post I made a year ago. And no, he's a jumpshooter, just because he stripped flabby wade a couple times and bodied him doesn't magically make him into an elite stopper. Yeah he can play defense, but the guy I was talking to was one of those idiots acting like Green magically turned into a great player just because he hit a bunch of wide open shots and got some nice strips.

He's a fukking role player breh
