Yes, because France and Germany got along so well after Napoleon...ummm nope....the war of 1870?...hmm nope...well they must have gotten along after the horrors of WWI..........

1) Eventually all out war, WWII put the majority of Europe in check...The Balkan wars sorted out the broken pieces of Yugoslavia...War is terrible...I dated a Serbian chick who lived it...It is NOT desirable...Kosovo became independent with very little shots fired...Because the people were not willing to go through another war...
2) However, what else is there to do when all other options have been exhausted? What hasn't been done diplomatically to bring peace to that region? It is time to get real...
Surgery is risky and expensive, but if you have a tumor that keeps growing despite non-invasive therapies, you have to go in and cut that tumor out...It is drastic but eventually it works...
3) Of course I am being extreme, but look at the context and history...70 plus years of diplomacy have FAILED...We are in EXTREME talk territory now...There are only 2 possible solution in my opinion...
a. Let them go to an all out war
b. Arm them all with a nuclear weapon (those with UN recognized governments) I will bet that they will NOT detonate and the antagonist actions will decrease...
Countries with Nuclear Weapons DON'T fight each other...And they don't get attacked...
