Hill wasn't on the team this year and those are ancillary pieces. You're basically suggesting that replacing Hill and Johnson with Jae Crowder is a major contributing factor to their success. You can certainly argue that they got better as a result of the trade but they don't improve to the effect that they do without Gorbert's return. Just look at the metrics, the defense improved dramatically when Gobert returned.Did you actually watch the games?
The team just got better, Gobert was a part but saying he single handily transformed them is laughable
The rotation even change after trades they made getting rid of the likes of johnson hood and hill
You can argue that the team didn't have the personnel to defend prior to his return but the impact he's had on his team is all-NBA level. Adams doesn't have that impact.
