Yeah, true...but I don't really mind that because I think death grips's stuff is amazingand I always believe the influence of someone that the general populace like should get its shine (that's not to say this thread is fact, but i'm pretty sure it is)

I never said they created industrial music, nor did I say it was fact. You could've just posted song links and your reasons for why since I posted the main reason why I thought death grips was the main influence (the daft punk pic and the fact that death grips have been the music journalistic darling for a while now).

After listening to the Death Grips YT videos posted, I am tempted to state that DG suxxx sweaty salty gorilla balls...
It's like they are purposefully trying to make the most teeth gritting annoying music they possibly can...
They have no interest at all in making good music, by "good music" I mean using chord progressions, scales and sound combinations that sound good to the human ear, as proven by thousands of years of human musical history...

I think it's great any mainstream has the balls to do something unorthodox at that stage in their career.
No different then when Andre did love/below that shyt changed the game.
I think hip hop steady progression is good no matter who's leading it.
