Yep. Still the youngest starting QB in the league. He's got 1 guy to throw to and he has a 3rd string (maybe 4th on Thursday) RB.
Loss VJax (who was kinda washed) ASF (was supposed to be his big time TE) Martin, Sweezy on the oline

Its a lot. Now he sails passes. So he's gotta be better. However, he's not surrounded by a lot. Not sure the HC is HC material either.

It really is about being at the right organization at the right time..

With all that being said...It still goes back to what I said at first though. Based on the hype he was still expected to be like a young Peyton Manning coming into the league. Right now he looks more like a young Eli. Nothing wrong with that though.

Dez would have been feasting with Jameis. Especially with that Oline and Zeke :dahell:

However, Jameis wouldn't play mistake free (for the most part) football like Dak.
I'd call it a wash right now.

Both have bright futures. Dak got the juice right now. :wow:
You said his problem is inaccuracy. That isn't Dak's, so how would they have the same record? :dahell:

They run two different offenses and two different types of skillsets breh.

Because what Dak does well Jameis would make up in other areas. He wouldn't be as accurate as Dak, but he would make more down the field throws.

Dak - surgeon
Jameis - gunslinger

Regressed badly... wonder if he's not putting the work in. He looked a lot better last yr

He plays for the Bucaneers...

He's basically winning the games he should win, he killed the 49ers, the Rams, and beat the Panthers and Falcons.

Don't start with this lazy shyt, because he lost weight during the off season and he was working with Evans. This is obvious because he and Evans have connected for 6- 7 td's already.

If they get Jameis some playmakers around him he will start to live up to the hype. All the tools and talent is there for him to succeed. He's not a potential Jamarcus Russell or anything but the Bucs do need to upgrade the offensive talent around him.

He has very serious accuracy problems that have to be worked out if he wants to be anything other than above average. Like he goes entire stretches games where he literally can't complete anything.

Great QBs make average players good and good players elite. That should be the expectation for a good QB, not "he needs more help" to be evaluated as a QB. You could always make the case that every QB needs their offensive talent to be upgraded

As for Jameis hes not a bust, but he hasn't really been consistently good either. He's a 15-20 level QB in the league right now on a mediocre team...his play isn't enough to raise TB's overall level of play as a team

I think if Jameis and Prescott switched teams they'd have the same record :yeshrug:

He's been solid.

His play just isn't matching the hype he had coming out of college yet. Part of that is to inaccuracy , the other part is they really lack talent outside of Evans and Martin(when healthy)
Sounds familiar to another Qb in his second season:to:

You get nervous when you see a guy consistently completing under 60% of his passes, that's a huge red flag at the position. Then again, he's still only 22. There are kids that will be drafted at QB this year that would be younger than him. Give him time and more adequate weapons and he'll be fine.

I was blown away yesterday at how inaccurate he was towards the end of the game like :dahell:

Think Jameis needs to be in a rhythm to really be hitting on all cylinders. His deep ball is nice though.
