There were a few cuts from 40 Dayz that were produced by Aftermath producers (Bud'da and Mel-man at least) and I swear I remember reading in The Source he'd already signed with Aftermath for the Golden State project with Saafir and Ras Kass by that point. Of course that never panned out, but he was already on the way to Aftermath by that second album as far as I remember :manny:

Steve Rifkind knew the power of street promotion.

He actually let the artists be themselves. In Fat Joe's book, Joe said that Steve Rifkind grew up in a Gangster family and how he was turned on by that shyt.


Hell, Prodigy pulled out a Mac-10 at the table when someone asked how QB was before they signed the deal.
