Can we admit that pre Aftermath/Dre X-Zibit was better than what he became when he joined that camp?

They did...

Steve Rifkind knew the power of street promotion.

He actually let the artists be themselves. In Fat Joe's book, Joe said that Steve Rifkind grew up in a Gangster family and how he was turned on by that shyt.

Hell, Prodigy pulled out a Mac-10 at the table when someone asked how QB was before they signed the deal.
You got a .pdf of the Fat Joe book ?

Yea when symphony dropped I thought X was gonna be something incredible from an artist standpoint… but he became a good journeyman once Dre and the label got to eem imo…. sometimes it isn’t the person it’s the orbit they choose to be in and Xzibit was never gonna be the IT guy wit Dre….he played his part cuz the money was equa/better than likely what he thought he could do elsewhere I guess…..

Actually feel he did both sides of underground and mainstream justice until a certain point

Wouldn't mind a new joint from him, underrated...
