sheamus is in the same position he was last night, only now he has a shiny belt. meanwhile roman looks like a bum because he can't ever beat the odds.

Agreed. You have to be real careful with the first touch of that belt, it can hurt a lot more than help to get chumped out of your first title win. Especially if you're seen as a big piece of the future puzzle.

The first time you win the world title is supposed to be a stand alone big deal so using it to advance a story instead has to be done very sparingly

No the Elimination Chamber is 4th (but that could change if they don't go back to 2 Chamber matches and keep it in February) wit TLC bein 5th, only reason Survivor Series ain't in the top 4 is cause they don't have traditional Survivor Series matches anymore. They only had 1 on the show not includin the kickoff and wasted the other ones on Raw/Smackdown shows before the PPV, they didn't even have the Brothers Of Destruction and Wyatt Family in a Survivor Series match they coulda had 2 people join Undertaker/Kane and made it another elimination match.

MITB has a lot more to offer than EC, TLC and SS because it decides who has the opportunity to win a title shot.

SS is , EC and TLC are prop shows.

The wwe didn't even put any effort into building up a survivor series match.

They even had a feud going which they could have easily used as a survivor series match, even if it'd be 4v4 with BoD vs Wyatt Family. They could have used it as a great chance to elevate one or two new stars, especially since they had BoD win anyway.

It's been like that for a minute now. Once they got rid of brand-specific PPVs it took a step up down to Backlash imo.
