Never met either, but from what I've read, L was a funny guy who could command a room. Cam is undeniable though. He was able to rely on charisma when he started to fall off with CHWM.

nah, Confessions of Fire was corny as hell but Cam was a legit star by late 98

alot of people felt Big Picture went gold because of his death, and im sure that did boost his sales, but L was trending up alot by then. if he would have dropped on the Roc in 99/00 it would have been crazy

4 out of the 5 in Children of the Corn had star potential, i think with the right team behind him Bloodshed could have made some big records in the late 90's

I wouldn't call Cam a star in 98.
Agree that L was making crazy waves right before he died and was making some of the best records of his career.
