Can we agree that gender equality is a myth?

I doubt a prison like rikers filled with rapists, murderers, thieves, and child molestors would take a female correction officer seriously.

Women are not fit to guard male prisoners.

Men are better disciplinarians. Look at the behavior of children of single mother households and compare it to the behavior of children from single father households.

What do you consider gender equality. As long as you're not talking about women not being doctors or doing certain jobs strictly based on their sex not on their proven merit I think it's all good. You would be denying biology if you believed there weren't any real biological differences between men.

Biology, of course. There are also some social aspects. For example, how rape is treated in our society across gender lines. It's rare that a woman will rape a man or for that subject to even be taken seriously. The only time a woman should be treated differently in consideration for a job is if she is pregnant. Other than that, fair game and equal pay.

Ok but MOST women are NOT construction workers. MOST women have no interest in building infrastructure. YES there are women who do those things, but it is NOT common at all. it is common to see women as nurses and teachers, but not as plumbers and construction workers. I live in a major city and see a lot of road work going on. I always see men everywhere. The last time I think I saw a woman she was butch.

No women can not do it on the same level as a man. I'm not talking about making a gun I'm talking about making new sewer systems, putting in light poles, plumbers, paving roads, and etc. Most women stray away from those jobs to began with, and willingly left after the war.

That is one of the greatest feats of mass engineering in history, and it was done with 37% of the workforce being women. To think that women could do all that, but not sit in a seat and operate an asphalt paver or put in a light pole doesn't make sense to me.

Your argument was that women cannot do those things, and in your paragraph you just said that they do. Socialization steers men and women in different paths. If we were socialized differently then maybe more women would choose construction.

I agree but its not only socialization that does that. Men and women would still have certain roles and attitudes based on their sex.

Actually, men are masculine to a womans femininity. Kids are naturally scared of and respect masculinity.

Women dont want equality, they want superiority

They want the benefits of being a man, the benefits of being a women without the baggage that comes with either

They want to be able to disrespect and degrade men without repercussion. Hope Solo has had multiple domestic violence incidents and nobody protested for her to be kicked off the World Cup team or lose endorsement deals. Meanwhile, several male public figures have had their lives ruined for defending themselves against aggressive women.
