Can We Agree That Ryback Has Been Booked Poorly So Far?

I think he's straight. They booked themselves into a corner with The Rock definitely getting the title going into WM so Skip couldn't win a lot of those matches including Royal Rumble. If Rock wasn't set in stone (no pun intended) I think they would've had him go over Punk already or go into WM the Rumble winner and take it.

Nah. They didn't have to do the Hell in a Cell match or put him in the main event. They were obsessed with Cena headlining Mania over Punk or anyone else. If they REALLY wanted him on top, he would of never lost, never faced Punk, won Rumble 2013, and got the title at Mania. Very simple super face booking. Just like they did with Batista and Cena in 2005.

Agreed. Very hard to fukk that up. Since punk wasn't losing they could have easily thrown Bryan in that slot for a couple months and it would have been believable ... Ryback should have dominated the midcard abd capped it off with the rumble win

Although PPV DQ finishes are not popular, they should have brought Lesnar back earlier to rip that HIAC door open. Otherwise, Ryback should have just left with the strap. Would have created some good buzz on what would occur at Royal Rumble.

It's not that he can't recover now, but the momentum he had (although premature) was at a peak that he won't get again. The sad part is that the build up was done well and was fresh (the backstage tease coupled with that Raw where he nailed Punk with the Lariat). Now when he does win a title everyone will be more like "finally..."

Should have just kept his ass in that IC title feud with Miz, which got thrown into the bushes as fast as his Main Event run (and soon to be as fast as Miz's face run )

Yall forget that he was hot shot into the main event spot because Cena got hurt so they gave him a shot. I believe that right around now was going to be the time they push him. His booking is fine even if he looks stupid for losing so often. He's only been pinned once.

I dont see how Ryback is doing bad. He is in the upper midcard spot where he belongs. Wrestlemania is where the top dogs main event and he botches too much for that shyt but once Mania passes and HHH, Rock, Undertaker, and Brock all go back into their grave till next year
