I co-sign this thread. The best part about the group to me is that there is no clear cut leader, everyone is on an equal footing and it shows in their teamwork, I can't even think of another stable that didn't really have a leader.
You could even say that triple powerbomb is the most over move today, just look at the destruction it's caused.

The E just needs to keep booking them as a destructive force for a while. They don't need to break them up in a couple of months like they are prone to do. They should keep them as rebels of the company who say fukk the authority. I don't no where it would ultimately lead but we need something different in wrestling now. And maybe this angle could possibly be it.
Nope the booking of them has been terrible. So they were working with CM Punk all along? That's up there with Kevin Nash texting himself terrible booking. It's a shame because the Shield as a group is great the storyline sucks. You said they can fukk up anybody that get's in Lesnar's way?? Really? Brock needs protection from the shield?

It's not terrible booking... terrible booking would be having them randomly attack people with no real reason ever being revealed, or being aligned with someone it doesn't even make any sense to be aligned with. The storyline here was that Heyman and Punk were never as "real" and "honest" as Punk pretended to be, and was hiring people to protect his championship reign all along. It was suspected but no one could prove it until they fired a person involved with the corruption. What about that is terrible booking?

exactly, at the core its simple but effective storyline writing
you build up the image of it being "coincedence" these guys interfere in favor of punk and even make it seem like punk/heyman have nothing to do with them then you have the reveal, they have been paying them all along to do their dirty work

Exactly, you can't have them behaving like typical wrestlers on the roster or they will lose the aura of being goons who do what they want.
It's boring though. Working with Rock or Cena would be better as long as the Shield was booked stronger than them. All that denial stuff was weak if this is the end result. Working with Heyman they need to be difficult to control due Heyman's own admission that he's a liar and opportunist. I want to see tension between them.
One question though; if they are hired help, why are they attacking guys like Sheamus and Orton? Could someone else be paying them off?

I like this about them too. It's like...they all have their specialty and it even shows with how they enter the arena.
Rollins & Ambrose come down one stairway and Reigns comes down his own stairway because he's essentially the Mr. T to Rollins & Ambrose's Murdock & Face, respectively.
Ambrose is the clever mouthpiece that holds the camera and speaks the most during the promos.
Rollins is the sly & obnoxious kamikaze/daredevil.
Reigns is the raging powerhouse that destroys everything when they're in trouble.

U don't get it. Ur watching a movie about a mysterious killer and the whole movie they point at the killer being 1 person. All signs point to him and then at the end of the movie he's the killer. That's terrible writing. U say the "storyline" was that Heyman and Punk were not "honest" and "real" their HEELS nobody believes their good guys. The Shield should have been aligned with either The Rock or John Cena.
