That's stupid as shyt... If they're not turning Rock or Cena (which they're not) then why should the Shield have been aligned with one of them? Then you'd have to explain all the other beatdowns too... which would make no sense at all. Why would the Rock give a fukk about them attacking Sheamus, Ryback, Daniel Bryan, Orton, or Kane? With Punk, it makes sense because as champion, he had them attack anyone seen as a threat. Rock would've done it... why?
What would've been stupid is if Punk and Heyman went out there and just admitted it after denying it... or if Shield just came out one day and shook their hands and revealed themselves- which truthfully I was expecting cause the kinda shyt the E usually does with stuff like this. But instead it was a lie that they had going on and could've kept up forever, because no one could prove it. They GUESSED it, but no one had any evidence and wouldn't get any. But then, Heyman and Punk made the mistake of getting rid of someone who was in on it, because they never thought it'd come back on them. And then not only does the truth get exposed, but Heyman continues to deny it even after getting caught which was justThe reveal was better than I thought it would be, to be honest.
The Shield would not have done those attacks if they were booked to be alligned with Cena or The Rock
The Shield would not have done those attacks if they were booked to be alligned with Cena or The Rock. The Shield should've came out during The Rock vs Punk match everyone would've thought they were gonna help Punk but instead they attack him helping The Rock win the belt. Then they would say Punk was telling the truth all along which nobody believed he was and now people would think The Rock is the leader. At elimination chamber Vince makes a match Punk/Rock/Cena vs The Shield in a 6 man tag match inside the chamber. When a pod opens a new teammate can come out kinda like war games instead it's in the chamber. It comes down to all 3 members of The Shield destroying Punk and The Rock in the chamber 3 on 2 as Cena is the last man in a pod waiting to come in the crowd would be rooting for Cena hear and The Shield would have massive heat. Cena's pod opens he comes in nails The Rock hits punk pulls out two sets of handcuffs they handcuff Punk to one side of the chamber The Rock the other and they beat the shyt out of them until the show's over. Then watch Wrestlemania buyrates go thru the roof

The thing about it is The Shield are in a position to guide any story flow wherever the WWE wants it to go. Basically they are doing with them what they should have done with the Nexus (what WAS that higher purpose anyway?). Anyone could buy off the shield and use them to their will. Think of it.
-Dolph could use them for the heavyweight championship cash in
- Cena can use them to finally beat the Rock in a desperate attempt to not be in a downward spiral like last year.
-Punk could use them to springboard into a feud with the Undertaker upon his return.
-Vince could use them to take oit Brock by outbidding Heyman.
So many avenues you could go with. Its compelling because you dont know where they will go from here.
This is good. Like I said, it's wrestling, it doesn't have to make sense. The crowd would heat up a force like that aligning with Rock or Cena. You can tie it all together so easily.
Cena is desperate. He pretends everything is okay and "see you at the PPV bro" but he's worried about his legacy. His loss to the Rock and his bad 2012 is eating at him. Don't that plague his mind.
He knows people will never put him in that rarefied air of Hogan, Flair, Austin and Rock. He feels he can get vindication by beating one of the biggest stars in the history of the business and cement his legacy. When he failed last year it took a lot of fight out of him. Then Brock Lesnar came back and had him doubting himself. Sure he beat him but it's a tainted victory in Cena's mind. Lesnar brutalized him and he won by getting lucky.
You put all this together and now the Rock is back. He thinks back to when he devalued Punk's title reign. But now that he's held it for so long he understands what it means now. Punk has been the standard bearer for over a year. Cena can respect that. Now the Rock wants to waltz in and take it, just because he can and do the part time thing? That's an injustice. He won't go to WM and lose to the Rock again. If he faces Punk and loses at least it would be honorable, he could live with that. So he has to protect that title.
That's why the Shield has been helping Punk. Also, Ryback is a target because he was rising too fast for a paranoid Cena. Stop his momentum. Protect Punk. Cena has to play his part though. Antagonize Punk, keep the rivalry hot, lose if he must for that WM moment. The Shield MUST beat him up, and they need to brutalize him. Don't take it easy on him.
Any other rising or established stars need to be neutralized so Cena will remain the wrestling hero. Kane, Bryan, Sheamus, Orton. He saves Ziggler for himself. Why do you think AJ turned on him?Langston, he was a recruit for the Shield but the opportunist Cena decided that Roman Reigns would be better, he's family. Reigns turning on family would provide a crucial psychological blow. Why do you think they were in his gym? Langston was discarded. He wants revenge and aligning with Ziggler and AJ can provide that opportunity. But he keeps everything to himself, lest he draw the ire of the Shield.
Despite all of Cena's meticulous planning the Rock wins the title anyway thanks to Vince McMahon. Cena using the Shield establish contact with Heyman as a mystery donor. Pay Lesnar to destroy McMahon. The Shield holds sway with Heyman because he sees them as a force to be reckoned with. Since he sees them protecting his client and are so efficient he puts them on the payroll. This is perfect for Cena, no one is going to suspect him.
Cena is becoming increasingly desperate and paranoid. He wants the Shield to be more brutal and domineering. Brutalize him to keep the ruse going. Cena becomes cowardly and sneaky. He still cuts the goofy promos but he talks slick about people he sees as threats, like Daniel Bryan. That's his next assignment for the Shield.
Through all of this, Cena has come to respect Punk and what he stood for that it's an obsession. He does not want to face the Rock and lose. He realizes it means nothing if he wins. So what? Punk is his rival, his Magneto to his Professor X. Eventually though the reality sets in that Cena will have to face the Rock. The promos leading up to the match are intense, Cena can barely keep up his charade. He thinks people are on to him. He pays the Shield to stay out of his match with the Rock, no one can find out the truth, he'd be ruined.
He battles the Rock and it's back and forth. Cena is desperate. He cheats, he uses illegal attacks, whatever he feels he must do. But he can't beat him. Then the Shield runs in. Rollins distracts the ref while Ambrose and Reigns put the boots to the Rock, hitting him with an iron phallus and escaping as fast as they came. Cena looks hesitant at first, pissed off even. Then he smiles, that smug smile. And he falls on top of the Rock, pinning him. Getting the title.
He addresses the Shield, "I told you not to do it. But I knew you would. Because I'm not the same John Cena. By any means necessary." This revelation draws out Punk, Heyman and Lesnar. Dumbfounded, flabbergasted, Punk and Heyman for the first time have nothing to say. Cena gets on the mic and holds up the belt. He tells Punk "this is us, he, the Rock, he doesn't belong here. This belt is ours. We must have it to save this business. I never understood, but I understand now. Get this piece of crap out of our ring."
Punk smiles as the Shield toss Rock out of the ring and into the spanish announcers table. "John, I knew the time would come where you'd be enlightened and seek out the man you once were. You are close, and I will be your savior and guide you. You will ascend to godhood with me and together, with my friends, and your friends.....this pathetic organization will be ours. We'll either save it, or burn it to the ground, either way we are going to be remembered above all of the so called legends." After that Punk can drop a pipe bomb and then seal the alliance.
I mean, imagine a barely controllable Shield, a volatile Brock Lesnar, and increasingly vicious John Cena being rebuilt to Punk's image and Heyman holding it all together with his greedy eyes set on seducing Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler who must resist the powers of temptation.

tHe only street the wwe is going to go down with this stable is.
The way called fukked up.
Only reason this shyt is so good.
Is because the wwe has underused them.
All because they really have no real quality or direction for the group.
This reveal is just part of their fukked up garbage content.
That will ultimately lead back to shyt quality like usual right after mania.
the whole year this company has no idea how to book or bring quality content or big money matches or feuds.
When they had the roster to and actual principles to easily pull it off.
When, punk became champion the first time.
He could have easily been heel, then.
By putting out cripple ache with the super Pepsi plunge.
Plus setup a cripple ache comeback.
With simple continuity to what and who punk is historically and what his real character is.
Which is why the summer of punk angle worked the first time.
As people who cheered it were glad to see the angle revisited.
Yet, the idiots that are this company.
Appealed to the son-in-law and his goof-lame non-drawing hanger on buddies.
To the point d bry was pretty much buried since the beginning.
The entire mishandling of ryback and Brock is criminal.
Not to mention, this completely obvious low quality supercena goes to mania versus the rock.
Or quite possibly a swerve where punk versus rock and cena in a threeway.
As their only other diversion to keep people from exposing their low quality.
i mean right now,..
We got Claudio with the us title in a feud with the mix.
The worst fukking worker in wrasslin history.
Just be glad you get to see at least one former god like roh former champ be booked right from the beginning.
Yet, look for even that to be fukked up.
Where the shield is tossed into the bull buchanen/bossman/kennel in a cell low quality booking.
After mania season is over.
Just be content with the fact the shield is used so sparingly.
As this company is totally fukkin inept.
Anyone who knows wrasslin and actual quality can spot this from any distance.

I would agree except this doesnt seem like typical WWE booking. This screams Heyman influenced booking. It foggy where theyre going but very detail makes sense. When is the last time you could say that about any wwe storyline three months in?
