Can we be real and admit that the mass appeal releases thus far have been absolutely wack?

All of this legend releasing albums shyt. I look at the YouTube comments of straight up terrible tracks and the entire comment section is taken up by old heads (or bots) glazing the fact that real hip hop artists are back.

Meanwhile the actual tracks and projects are terrible. Listeners are grasping onto nostalgia more than than actual quality of music.

I'm convinced that most of the commenters are bots or that millenians and gen x are so washed up that they don't even know what's dope anymore..

I'm fully convinced that supreme clientele 2 is gonna be complete trash the same way Raes new shyt was.

Wake me up when alc and erikah drops please.

What are a few examples of great albums from nobodies? Always looking for new music….
My point is that expecting great albums from Rae at 55 and Slick Rick at 60 is completely unrealistic. We should just be happy they’re healthy and making music that at least some of their fans enjoy. This is the most attention they’ve gotten in years and has increased numbers of both their new and old music. It’s not a bad thing.

I hoped for more from the Rae album but it wasnt wack, the Slick Rick album isn't wack either just wished it was longer. Haven't heard the Ghost album yet, that's the only 3 that dropped so far yeah?
