Im saying though, if people actually gave it a chance and did watch it, its one of the best sports to watch (especially live)

Non stop action, physical play, ridiculous skill, minimal ref interference all the while the players are skating around on ice at top speeds with a puck flying around at 70-100 MPH

Playoff hockey is about as good as it gets in regards to sports

I get hyped over playoff hockey and my guys haven't played beyond round 1 since 1993. if they made it all the way

I have yet to see a hockey fan on here get upset at anyone over them not liking the sport. Most dont care. Its usually the non-fans who run in saying "get this cac shyt out of here" and "hockey sucks," etc.

Can't lie. I am neutral about hockey. I just can't watch it for some odd reason. I remembered trying to watch it a number of years ago for like a good 2 minutes but never really got interested.

Hockey fans are so insecure about their irrelevant sport, it's hilarious.
Trying to compare that lily-white sport with the NBA isn't very smart. A meaningless NBA regular season game still kills the Stanley Cup TV ratings!
You can even make the argument that soccer is more popular in the US than hockey.

The NBA is mostly black, NHL is lily-white. There are very few people who like both leagues. They're like complete opposites (think hip-hop and country).

Nobody is blocking us from the NHL. We just don't give a fukk about your cracka ass sport (and that clearly bothers you).

All I see is hockey cacs trying to validate their game by picking on the NBA (again). It's no surprise that very few people like both sports. They're like complete opposites in almost every way (culturally, socially, etc).
Every now and then you see articles trying to hype up the NHL by selectively comparing it to the NBA, despite the dismal ratings and low popularity.
