Five stars just for the comedy.
I hardly watch baseball on ESPN either, but for a different reason: they always air the same handful of teams. After a while, I get tired of seeing the Yankees/Red Sox/Cardinals/Mets/Phillies. There are other teams out there that have been either just as good or better the past few years, but they barely get any national airtime. After the NBA playoffs are over, i dont even watch ESPN until football starts. It's definitely getting to be that way with some of these questionable new rule changes, like the ones with defensive shifts and the pace of games. The pace of game one sounds OK on paper, but I would have rather seen them shorten commercial breaks than to shorten time in between pitches and requiring hitters to always have at least one foot in the batter's box. At least one of the good things they did in recent seasons was with revenue sharing, which helps to create more parity among all the teams so that it's harder for teams to just buy championships.great idea.
seriously, watching baseball in 2015 is more embarrassing than watching WWE in 2015.
