F*ck outta here when Jordan was in the league the East was trill:

Pacers
Hornets
Knicks
Heat
Pistons
Hawks
Celtics
Magic
Cavs

Were all good teams and above 500

think you ignored the key word in what he said: peak....when mj was running shyt at his peak, a lot of the teams you listed werent shyt....including: celtics, pistons, cavs, hawks....magic, hornets, and heat were good for a couple years.....and the teams that were good: pacers & knicks, no one thought they had a chance against the bulls...it's the same shyt now....the pacers & knicks then = the raps & celtics now, good teams but dont have a chance against the dominate team/talent (cavs)....the magic, hornets, and heat then = the wiz, hawks, heat, and bucks now....it's the same shyt...there are some good teams, some bad teams, and the rest avg.....

Someone selectively picking and choosing teams over a 7 year time span. After the Bulls beat the Pistons in 91, Jordan's time in the east was just like Lebron's. The West has been better since at least 96, which goes against all narrative

Not sure what you are laughing at, Hawks were a playoff team, watch more basketball

Nikkaz acting like the Hornets were trash :smh:

We could show highlights of the Cavs-Pacers in the first round this year, PG13 absolutely going off, every game super close.

Or highlights of the Cavs-Raptors last year, where Toronto blew out the Cavs twice and Derozan and Lowry posted huge numbers for the series, then say, "And they were a 56-win club!"

Talk about the 2015 Bulls, a Lebron game-winner from going up 3 games to 1?

Even better, think of how you could portray Heat-Nets in 2014? "Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, Kevin Garnett, Deron Williams, Andre Kirilenko, and Shaun Livingston on the same squad? That team was stacked! It took 49 from Lebron to keep Brooklyn from tying the series 2-2 in Game 4 and then the Nets had the ball and a shot to win on the Heat's own floor in Game 5!"

But we all know that no matter how many highlights you show or what narratives you tell about the season, we know that the 2014 Nets, 2015 Bulls, 2016 Raptors, and 2017 Pacers weren't contenders. No one other than the biggest stans is going to tell you with a straight face that those teams had a real shot against Lebron.

Same things with those 1990s Hawks and Hornets. You have to engage in some mad revisionism to think that they were anything other than warmup fodder for Jordan.

The Heat were the most dangerous team in the league, after the break, and were consistently called the team that no one wanted to face. We went 30-11 and you acting like we weren't ready despite having the most injured roster in the league.

Hell, I'd argue that the healthy Heat are one of the few teams with a puncher's chance against the new look Warriors because our defensive versatility, defensive intensity, stamina, and Whiteside.

The Heat are much better than you giving them credit for.

If Heat get Gordon Hayward, they going to the Finals. Book it

Hawks would have been right in that conversation too... :ohhh:

Who am I kidding, it would have ended in the same result

If the Sixers come together immediately I think the East will be fine. They have a big 3 of young players that the game hasn't seen since OKC

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Are you fukking crazy breh?

Heat: c'mon... a few good players.. nothing specifically strong about them
Celtics: got Ainge. Not enough punch in the Playoffs... in the East.
Sixers: had the top picks for years now. It didn't happen before, it won't happen now.

Where did I say any of these teams would win the title :wtf:

The Heat were 30-11 over the 2nd half of the season, are they supposed to be worse now that they're bringing people back healthy?

The Celtics will be a 50 win team regardless.

The Sixers had top picks for years now? They've been rebuilding for a shorter period of time than the Kings, Wolves and Nuggets, their top pick didn't even play last season.

Idk know whats with the revisionist history, the east has never been all that great since probably the mid-late 80s
definently not the 90s :mjlol: you had a few good teams like the cavs magic hornets, but none of them were seriously contending or beating the bulls
The Magic beat jordan's bulls in 95 just to get dropped off in 4 to the rockets in the finals :yeshrug:
