Can we discuss Mike Tyson's so called rape conviction

Not only did they have no evidence but Washington had a well documented history of falsely claiming rape...She had accused her own father as teenager because she didn't like how he judged her for having sex at a young age...She also accused a former boyfriend...The court did not allow any of these men to testify in Mikes trial and neither one was ever found guilty of Washingtons accusations...

Anyways Don King is to blame for this...Mike would have never been convicted if they hired a lawyer experienced in rape trials...Those idiots hired King's tax attorney who had no experience in criminal trials to handle a rape trial involving a black man labeled "the most feared man on the planet" in a white conservative state...They set Mike up for disaster...

Basically he got convicted on some he said/she said type shyt. The prosecution painted her out as a sweet, innocent yet naive and gullible woman. And Don King needed to have his ass whipped for getting Mike a tax attorney as his defense lawyer. Basically Mike's defense was, "hey, it's Mike Tyson. What did you expect to happen?" Plus the fact that the case was tried in Indiana, aka Klan Country, they could have skipped the trial and just threw the book at Mike and not waste anyone's time.

While is legal defense of Tyson might have been poor, him being just a tax lawyer is a common misconception that isn't true. The lawyer was King's tax attorney but he also had a successful career as a litigator...in fact he got the guy who shot President Reagan off.

Kings dumbass attorney found out about him after Mikes frivolus conviction...Dude was never actually charged because Washington later admitted the accusation was groundless...Mikes attorney brought this up in an appeal but her attorney claimed "it is totally irrelevant to the central questioning of what happened in 1991"...
