It won't, as "wokeness" gets more and more popular, Hotep/Ankh/excessive Afro-centrism will continue to gain traction.
Most of them are completely uneducated, and end up learning ridiculous pseudo-intellectual "sciences," "histories" (centering around Egypt, or as they love to call it "Kemet"), and fallacies that don't even hold up to the most basic scrutiny.

Can we find another term to use in 2016 instead of "Hotep"? Why can't we just call them idiots, ignorant or uneducated? Or better yet....conspiracy theorists? Same here...I'm African-American first generation and I know people that actually take the time to gain knowledge and use it for self empowerment instead of looking like a misinformed fool. Can't be ignorant and woke at the same time.
Yeah, I actually like to see African Americans read up more on African history and gain knowledge of self and appreciation for their heritage. You can't have a future without looking at the past. It's empowering to know that the next generation atleast is interested in knowing about it.

Last time I checked, that's what they were doing. Acknowledging the African roots. Something historians have only just recently started to accept after saying otherwise for a hundred years. It's not that the "Hoteps" obsessed with it. It's that alot of blacks feel like history was purposely fabricated (and it was) and they want to set people correct.
I don't want to accuse you of anything but, you starting to sound like those "your ancestors were West Africans" type cats.
