Can we get rid of this "double post" feature? Its very annoying

consecutive posts within 5 minutes get merged. it was on 15 before. increasing the time limit would make your problem worse

anyway we can exclude the Post a random Pic Thread?

my only problem is with the Random Pic thread

we're used to dumping multiple post of non related material in one sitting, now that shyt gets condensed into a few post and ruins the flow

maybe make it so that if we're not quoting a post then it does not apply

The point is that even if you want people to use the multiquote feature (which I use when NECESSARY), a lot of posts NEEd their own post.

It makes no sense for me to post something in relation to one thing, then have that post linked in with another block of text relating to someone else talking about another thing...

and what sucks is that you have to wait for someone ELSE to comment before you can reply so it doesn't get tacked on to your last post...

and even worse, you can't even predict if it'll attach to your previous post or not because sometimes it randomly adds your follow up as a separate post.

So not only have you instituted this measure, you haven't told anyone how it works or what its meant to do...or even how to use it.

Get rid of it.

WTF is that? No. We're telling you we don't like it, so stop trying to force it.

This isn't the same as a facebook redesign. You're literally up and changing how the functionality of a very simple process, posting, works.

At best, just stick to the timer on consecutive responses. Don't do this unnecessary crap for the sake of YOUR readability. It makes no sense.

thats a matter of opinion. some people are capable of reading a post that contains two seperate ideas
