fukk Windhorst but you telling me you and @Gil Scott-Heroin closer to the Cavaliers locker room than LeBron's stalker and their beat writer? :childplease:

No ive just actually read up on Blatt's past accomplishments unlike everyone else on the forum and can tell you what hes doing defensively with this team is mirroring what he did with his underdog euro teams that won titles.

The players hate Haynes because he listens in to the players private conversations and puts them out as stories to the public when a majority of the time they arent true and Windhorst has absolutely no sources within the Cavs anymore so anything he says is just either completely made up or pure speculation.

He gets credit for staying the fukk outta the way. Tyronn Lue is coaching that defense and LeBron is doing whatever he wants on offense. And it's not like it's coaching that is making Delly and Thompson grab every loose ball.

And you know Tyronn Lue is really coaching how?

For starters try different cats. Bogut is practically worthless on offense and on the defensive boards. Give those minutes to Ezeli or Speights. He finally gave Lee some run and look what happened. Stop putting Barnes on Bron. That's not gonna work. Ironically, next game should look like the starting line up Mark used last year. Steph-Klay-Iggy-Lee-Bogut (Bring Harrison, Green and Ezeli off the bench)

ALSO, he should try trapping Bron like they trap Steph. Their offense can't do shyt without Bron.

You start Iggy then what punch are you getting off the bench? Barnes and Green don't strike me as the kind of guys that would be motivated by being benched at this point :yeshrug:.

:whoa: with the trapping. Steph is being trapped by larger and stronger players. That is what is throwing him off. The Warriors only got one guy larger than Bron and nobody that is stronger than him. Bogut is their only semblance of rim protection so you bring him out to trap Bron and you are basically creating open 3s and a layup line for the others. That is the last thing the Warriors want. The Bron only offense is actually keeping them in games, especially late. You start letting those other guys get going and it's a wrap.

I'd live with it if Iman Shumpert and Delly are taking 3's OR Tristan Thompson shooting confused jumpers from outside the paint over letting Bron bully his way to the basket. Whomever has JR doesn't have to come off in case he gets hot and the same with James Jones who's only good for a few minutes. It ain't like he's on a team with Ray Allen. Kyrie and Love are out. They don't have shooters anymore.

That leads to 4-3 situations and layups for a team that has trouble scoring. Defense is not the Warriors problem.

It doesn't, but it also doesn't change the fact that Tyronn Lue is pretty much the Cavs defensive coordinator.
The guy at the top should get some credit no doubt, but if we're talking Xs and Os and defensive mindset, Lue should get most of the praise about the way Cavs play defense.

Add Lebron to that list as well, who has anchored solid defensive teams going back to his first run in CLE and at MIA and now back at CLE. He is the common denominator. Lebron holds his teammates accountable how they play defensively. That is why when he leaves team, their defense go to shyt. Blatt is not doing nothing but following the lead of Lebron and learning from his assistant coaches on the NBA. Dude looked like a fish put of water most of the season.
