Idk man. I work for the irs and there’s this scam going around the past couple years. Most of the people involved in this recent/specific scam is us (from my personal [account viewing] experience). I know people have been scamming for years. On the other hand, not everything is fraud (I’ve seen some very wealthy people’s accounts).

Anyway, We’re giving the scammers a chance to amend their scams. For the rest of the hard heads, the irs is just sitting back and letting them think they’re getting the money And in a couple years, the hammer is gonna come down.

Cats was wayyy too loud about this on social media. Cats didn't think one of the largest credit unions in the country had active anti fraud monitoring, especially when these Podcasters are giving verbatim the exact same numbers to put on the app?

Then, the sickest shyt is teaching folks how to commit fraud, so that they can "take a chance with the white folks money", and buy your shytty ass master course. There is a lot of cognitive dissonance when it comes to committing white collar fraud in the black community, and that's a bigger discussion that people aren't comfortable with currently.

Not lumping all folks together who would receive them. Of course there is a large chunk of our community who would act reasonably and responsibly with any potential payment. But there would a be significant minority who would fall prey to shyt like this.
