I love Memphis rappers. I can't believe how long Three 6 was in the game. I mean "Slob on my Nob" is a classic. Got in a lot of fights in the club when they played "Tear da Club up" :wow: When the DJ used to say "Dade County don't tear da club up" When you in another part of Florida. :banderas:

My favorite from Memphis is 8ball and MJG though. But Three 6 had some joints. So happy I was clubbin back them days rather than now. The youth is getting cheated for real. :mjlol: Buy a bottle back then? :comeon: VIP section in the middle of the dance floor? :comeon: bytches just dances with their friends? :comeon: You truly missed out if you were a club head and wasn't able to get out in the 90's

My uncle put me on to Three 6 when I was younger. Every time, I went over to my grandma crib...all I heard was Three 6. I was fascinated by how dark & unique they sounded and how hard they're beats slapped.

Three 6 Mafia are legends...no question. They don't get the respect for being one of the most consistent rap groups either. They put out had so much dope material for so long...You can make a shytload of playlists of nothing but pure uncut fire of unless hits, album cuts. etc etc.

@SirBiatch is right. 36 doesn't have any universal classics. Regional classics? Sure.
And hip hop production is as awful as it's ever been. So if 36 is the biggest influence on today's sound, then 36 must have :trash: beats.

So glad this topic was made. It's true their music is timeless you can play those early 00s 90s albums and they still sound great.
Birthed so many styles, gave the birth to the flow we have today :ohlawd:

When the smoke clears is one of the best south albums ever, fukk whoever thinks this aint a classic

All I wanna know is where the G's at, where the key's at :mjcry:

The replay value of Lord Infamous verse :gladbron:
