nope...the main reason is if you get rid of kickoffs, you kill a team's chance of getting the ball back with an onside kick...which pretty much kills any excitement at the chance of a comeback in the late secs if a team has a lead....and that's really the only thing that's keeping kickoffs in the game...

i dont think i seen a kickoff return all year, everthing is a touchback

Why? It gives the opportunity for a touchdown when a loser defense sleeps on a return. I mean, if you are just going to automatically put it on the 20 yard line, you might as well automatically put a baseball on a tee, like in t-ball, in the MLB and just have them hit the ball to save time.
