Not true. I'd say it's pointless because there are no real repercussions for being deep in the red. No one gets banned, no one loses thread making privileges.

This place would greatly improve if they just got rid of the obvious trolls. They refuse to do that. We saw how hard it was to get rid of KingpinOG for good.

Yeah there should be some privilege lost when you are so deep in the red.
We've been answering this for about 3 years now. We're not adding consequences for being in the red. People are banned or disciplined for their actions on the board, not their rep. There seems to be far less complaints about rep since the last update so i don't see us removing it anytime soon.
