It always bothered me how much of a bytch ass nikka he was considering how skilled he was. D12 and royce was a cross section of metro detroit even including em, but royce was the "hoe ass nikka / snake" segment. And he sold out with that willa ford song IMMEDIATELY.
Royce is the type of guy who will do some slick shyt and think he can outsmart you that it was cool or he didnt do it or that you did the snake shyt lol.
he's always came across an annoying try hard who thinks he knows everything.
got a little momentum when he came out of jail and put out his most listenable stuff (Bar Exam 1&2)..now he is back to being Eminem's footstool and ego stroker.

That's why I can't buy this tough guy act he tries now. I know Trick Trick holds him down now so he thinks he's tough but back then he looked wild soft.
Malcolm X track is classic though and Royce has one of the best deliveries and flows of all-time. His rhyming skills are off the charts, though I never pegged him as a great lyricist, but the other technical aspects he's elite.
