What up Coli, feels good to be back but there's something I've noticed.

I was gonna post this in the "Times up on telling single women" or whatever post but I think it deserves it's on thread. Sites like the root, gravity, very smart brothers, and whatever other bullshyt ass sites have chosen their stance. They're going all in on the anti black male rhetoric just to create controversy and generate clicks.

Now I do, however, see the benefits of discussing some of these issues and some of the debates are down right hilarious.

But can we stop giving these sell outs the clicks they so desperately yearn for.

I propose that we use Archive.is or Internet Archive: Wayback Machine.
Archive the page before posting and use that link instead. That way the site won't get in trouble for posting whole articles and those of us who don't want to support this bullshyt have the option not to (if someone really wants to give the site traffic it's easily done with a link to the original page on the archive).

Let's stop making it profitable to denigrate your race. This should be the standard for all these click bait ass websites.

I agree. A lot of those sites are heavlily agenda based too. The twosmartbrothers were the ones that wrote the article about straight black males being the white men of the black community. And a lot of these sites aren't even black owned they're just a front disguised as black media.

Instead of talking about "boycotting" one site or platform...let's make this about finding and uplifting the ones we want to support

The minute we say "boycott this" it opens a can of worms to say:

Boycott all rap music
Boycott all media because we aren't portrayed correctly
Boycott all sports
etc.

If anyone has any journalistic chops and is interested in starting a site that we can all support, PM me.

VSB used to be my favorite blog.

They've gone so far over the edge the last year it's unreadable now.

I mean I would throw money at anything those dudes put out to support. It's like those dude fully drank the "men are evil" , "all women are good and pure and infallible" kool-aid. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Appealing to prejudice is big business and there's only one group that you can dog relentlessly in the media with no fear of repercussions. They made a business decision to pander to secure the bag.
