He wasn't ever gonna win the award bruh! Sure you can argue otherwise but everyone sans Houston fans knew what was up. And with a healthy Durant coming back next year.. Harden won't be in the top 3 again. It'll be a combination of Bron, KD, Curry, AD for MVP from here on out

In the last 7-10 days I heard SAS, Israel Guiterrez, Chris Broussard and Dennis Scott say Harden was their MVP. 3 of them actually have votes. But Harden had is chance to lock it up last night. But this season ain't about the MVP award.

What is this season about exactly? Because that's the only thing he even only had a slight chance to win. We all know Houston ain't making no noise in the playoffs, especially if they play the spurs first round..

Act like the Spurs ain't 2-1 versus GS.

What does what I said have to do with GS? You ducking and dodging like Floyd out here.

Best offense is a good defense. Rockets need some work. I think Harden needs to develop a post game and his mid range game has to improve. Another ball handler would help as well. But if we play Memphis or Portland I'll like our chances. SA would be tough but we did only lose by 1 last night the closest anyone has played them during their streak. Thats with us missing 21 ft's and committing 20 TO's.

Our defense was on point last night but if anything our ft shooting and injuries are gonna hurt us. No excuses but if we had D-Mo and Beverly I'd like our chances in a playoff series vs all the teams in the west.

But all year y'all been campaigning for harden and one of the main points was he has no help.. Now all of a sudden these guys are gonna beat SA and GS in a series? The warriors are 4-0 vs hou.

Is it oochie Wally or One Mic?!:patrice::ahh:

Steph is not an elite defender. :heh:
I said statistically.

According to the numbers, Curry positively impacts the Warriors' defensive efficiency more than any of his backcourt teammates -- yes, even Klay Thompson, who drew the tougher assignments under Mark Jackson -- and ranks second among all guards in the league at opponents' field goal percentage.

According to Synergy Sports, the opponents he guards have shot just 36.8 percent on the season. He's averaging a career high in steals and a career low in fouls.

He's even frustrating top-caliber opponents. Who knew that the stronger-looking Russell Westbrook struggled with Curry defending him this season? In three games against Curry, Westbrook shot far below his averages, at 32.9 percent from the field and 26.3 percent from deep.

But according to defensive real plus-minus, he has a more positive impact than more celebrated defenders such as Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley his teammate Shaun Livingston. And RPM suggests his defense is the best in the league among MVP-caliber guards, ahead of James Harden, Chris Paul or Damian Lillard.

Damn bro it's the regular season how do you feel with your warriors vs the spurs they were 1-2 vs the spurs. And last night we stood toe to toe with the spurs. They were up by 9 in the 4th did the hack a Josh for fukking 6 minutes and we still got back in the game and had a chance to win on the last possession. It don't matter what I think of the Rockets help for Harden fact is if they play to their best they'll have a chance.

They'll have to hit FT's cuz I'm sure after last night the book for us is gonna be put em on the line.

bigging up the Hawks

:comeon: The league is minimizing them every chance they get. They have a damage control script during nationally televised games (that they aren't even playing in) for every new accomplishment they have. They love to say Cleveland and Chicago are better. They even sent the NYPD to break Thabo's ankle. :scusthov: :camby:

I don't think it's that close anymore. It's close but separation is their in Harden's favor. He has the stat's, team record, clutch play and MVP moments. I think the SA games this week will say alot but imo if the Rockets win these 2 games vs SA Harden is MVP no matter his performance. A split will leave the door open for Curry and we won't lose both.
