Too many people ESPN watching he's not a top 15 player currently

People overrate the shyt out of his defense (as seen here), he's a great defender but he's not elite/DPOY level yet (lacks defensive awareness and fundamentals of defense, was getting roasted in the post but his added on muscle should help that next ssn). His offensive game not eye popping either (nice J and faceup game, can drive past most big men).

I'll bite; name 15 better players that are CLEARLY better than him at the present time....

It's damn near impossible to name 15 players that are CLEARLY better than Davis, but that's because after a certain number of players the talent kinda evens out in the next tier, but I can list, probably, 25 players that you can at least have a very good argument are better, depending on preference.

LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul George (:to:), Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, James Harden, Derrick Rose (healthy's always the caveat here), Stephen Curry, and Kevin Love, I feel, are probably all clearly better at this point.

After that, you've got arguments for Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Al Jefferson, Demarcus Cousins, Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, John Wall, Demarr Derozan, Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Rajon Rondo, Kobe Bryant, Brook Lopez, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki, Marc Gasol, Zack Randolph, and maybe some other players if you wanted to reach that far (Dragic, Leonard according to a lot of people on this board :heh:)

With the way the game has slanted towards the perimeter and the impact of ball handlers in the league it's hard at this point to compare bigs to smalls. And I'm not saying I personally feel all those guys are better than Davis but you can make reasonable arguments for them.

AD is the future and in three years he'll probably be MVP

but the past few months he has been getting a milder version of the Andrew Luck effect were people rank him based purely on what he'll be in the future and not what he actually is right now. Dude is not an elite defender. He's probably a top 10 player but its not a sin to leave him off.

Check the plus and minus he's actually not a difference maker in defense yet

Checking plus minus instead of watching a player in action... :Bellywood:
