I see it now. KD makes his triumphant return to OKC and Phoenix gets to reload with OKC’s stockpile of picks.They traded away about 5-6 years of first round picks for Beal and Durantthey literally can’t rebuild with the draft and these guys are making 150 million dollars + between them so they can’t sign anyone
You’re right though. Trading KD and Book is the only thing that saves their franchise because they’ll get back some picks and a few young players to build around. But they not getting much for a 35 turning 36 year old KD and I doubt they trade Book cause he their franchise money maker but if he wants out, they’re fukked for the next 10-15 years

I don't know how you make the money work though. If they still had Hayward under contract next year(they don't) - I could see something like Giddey + Hayward and a bunch of picks for KD

Beal got spoiled in DC by Ted Leonsis and Tommy Sheppard and Ernie Grunfeld. Especially when Wall got injured.
He probably hasn't TRULY been held accountable for his play since Randy Wittman.
To Brad’s credit, if you told us in 2014 that he’d become an All Star guard who could score 30 PPG off the bounce, we wouldn’t have believed it. Remember, he was a catch and shoot player.
