Cashman in justified in his reaction to A Rod ,,,, here is a timeline

Cashman has been on bad terms with A Rod ever since he opted out of that original 25 million a year dollar contract (which the texas rangers were paying about 15 million of it)

Then A Rod realized there were no proper suitors who would pay him that much money.... Yankees have all the leverage

A Rod then tells his agent Scott Boras to come crawl back to the yankees and sign a 10 year 275 million dollar contract in 2007.

Yankees under George Steinbrenner's control begin ... start bidding against themselves because they are drink with the money prospect that a clean A Rod could break Bond's career home run record.... (Yankees were like :ohlawd: at the future tickets and merchandise sales) no one else would have given him 27.5 million a year

Cashman must have been like :dahell: :snoop: the whole time.

Then in 2009, A Rod admits to PED use... the original basis for the contract is now :trash:

Cashman must have been like :comeon::aicmon:

A Rod since that 2009 world series has been looking :flabbynsick: ..... Cashman is like :beli:

A Rod caught up in another Steroid scandal ..... Cashman is like :demonic::pacspit: at A Rod.

That 27.5 million could have been spent on other areas which could help the team.

Yankees are trying to get under the189 million dollar payroll luxury tax and avoid the 30 million dollar penalty .... a voided A Rod contract or a buy out would easily save them.....

I ain't mad at A Rod personally... Yankees were stupid to give him that contract back in 2007 but I can see why Cashman has reasons to dislike this guy over the years

EXACTLY.

I don't blame Cashman for his feelings, but he could be a little less public about it. But whatever, A-Rod brought all of this upon himself, he's getting what he deserves, he's had his chances to turn all of this around but his selfish mind just couldn't.

The late George Steinbrenner gave him that Contract in 2001, Cashman has only had full control over baseball personnel since 2010

True on the Giambi tip, but Cashman has really had control since 2005 when he almost left.

Not to mention that that has always been his excuse whenever something didn't pan out. "Oh, that wasn't my move." Cashman apologists believe that every bad move the Yankees make was George's fault, or is Hank's, and every good move is his. You guys haven't realized how he manipulates his perception through the media to make it seem like he's some kind of genius locked in a cage? If his decisions never get respected why doesn't he just leave ... oh, but then he wouldn't have his built-in excuse clause and actually have to work within a budget.

At any rate, I wouldn't be surprised if he's colluding with MLB to get A-Rod the fukk outta there.

cashman has been a dikk and excuse maker for years . Is it arods fault that Pineda was injured soon as we got him ? Where's cashmans bashing of cc for opting out ?

Please cashman is a disgrace himself in his personal life, only reason he got another ring is due to the Steinbrenner checkbook . He needs to stop casting stones And trying to be a media figure and just do his job. If not quit ! The Yankees been not supporting arod since day 1 and then daring him to opt out :snoop: they brought this on themselves . Scapegoating arod last year was the last straw breh they are acting unprofessional , a gm shouldn't be telling players to shut the fukk up or doing interviews disparaging arods contract . It's tacky and bad business !

The mutha****in BX
cashman tried to wash his hands off the soriano trade, saying he didn't want to do it.

yet 4 months earlier he made the same exact move, with an even worse player in vernon wells.

bottom-5 GM. he was spoon-fed the best team in baseball by stick and bob watson.

Breh, his personal life has nothing to do with it, also I DID sayhe should've chilled on making things public. Bottom line, ARod brought all of this on himself. Where are we disagreeing?

if you think Cashman's bad, don't let Hank near a microphone.

but hey, since some of y'all want Cashman out, I guess you watch the Cowboys and think "man that Jerruh, Cowboys are in good hands with him" or "man I wish the Knicks would just let Dolan have more of a say. We were better then." or "if Mitch could just get the fukk out the way and let Jim Buss handle his business, the Lakers would still be DA BAST!"

Your only hope is that the Steinbrenners sell the team to FOX News, and then you'll be mad you're walking into O'Reilly Field at Yankee Stadium being asked about what political party you vote for, all while tuning in to watch a shytty team.

Cashman is unprofessional. Should he be acting how he does ? Hanks the owner and can say what he wants but that muzzled him like they should Brian. Do other gm come out publicly disavowing moves and cursing out players ? Especially one with crazy mistresses out there

Cashman is a little geeky fukking clown. It's about time A-rod said something about this shyt. It's been clear since day 1 the Yanks and MLB are out to get him. The minute he told A-rod to Shut the fukk up I lost all respect for him. Probably the best 3B in Yankee history and this is how you treat him? It's disgusting Cashman should be slapped across the face for this shyt.
