I don't understand why he's not considered a lock to be a lottery pick. He's averaging 17 and 12 while shooting 61% from the field and shoots 81% from the line. What am I missing here?

Average wingspan means he's not a big man on the next level
Not a great defender
Kinda slow

so someone has discovered the Sabonis bandwagon I see
Just like I called it when I said I didn't understand why Cousins wasn't considered a lottery pick back in 2010. I have the same feeling now. He's better than those ranked ahead of him at his position for the most part.

Well I think he's a lotto pick in a several places. I don't think he goes much higher than say 7 or 8 though, but that depends on who's chasing what. I think he's worlds better than Ivan Rabb, but Rabb may go higher off potential a la Vonleh.

Also, a lot of legit C's in this class so if you need one those guys will get a bump up. Right now the only 4 I put over Sabonis is Bender (if you see Ben Simmons as a 3)
