He wasn't ready.. I saw it last year at UF and was shocked when scouts and GM's were saying he was a top 5 talent...His lack of handle and first step makes every shot attempt a struggle at the nba level..And without Wall there is no penetration to collapse the defense and get him easy looks.. He's in the worst position possible...

He struggled with his shot... IN COLLEGE :heh: He just has a really good looking form.

I get that Beal had some bums feeding him, but he just wasn't executing from three.

I remember watching Greivis when he was at Maryland.

First thing that caught my attention was his 1st name...

but he's just a tough nosed player. pretty athletic and has nice court vision.

most definitely a very serviceable backup PG and occasional spot starter

I remember seeing him at maryland and they beat unc or duke I cant remember and i knew he was going to be at least a decent nba player, not a bad player at all but I think he would fit better in a spurs or even a twolves system better than no.

he gets overlooked because of the other big names on the hornets, but he puts up stats on the low. He shoots horrendously usually, but he'll improve on that. He dimes like crazy though. And he has a flashy play style that I'm a big fan of.

this season: 12ppg, 9apg, 4 rpg :ehh:

Those are the numbers that got Jose Calderon 10 million a year. If you're getting starter's minutes at point guard in this league, there's no excuse to not put up big numbers. Anyone with a little speed and passing ability can :eat:

I was just about to say he reminds me of Jose Calderon from the little I've seen of him....

 Didn't Vasquez used to cry all the time after every loss in college? Also, wasn't he drafted by Memphis because the Grizz weren't sure on Conley and thought that he might not have been the PG for the future I believe. But, yea he is nice. I forget that he is 6'6. His shot is :weirdo: as fukk, but I remember that shot in OT against the Thunder in game 4 of the WCSF. When he shot it, it looked terrible but when he made it, it was :noah:

It's cool to see people look past the shooting percentage.

his shooting form could use some work, but i think he'll improve... I can sense the hunger in him. plus he has the clutch gene :mjpls:

its one of the most amazing things Ive ever seen in a draft. There was nothing he did last year that made you think he was better than some of the other prospects at 2guard, let alone every player in the draft minus Davis (and I say everyone because there were many who thought dude should be drafted over MKG). No evidence at all and we seeing it (:to:).

I didnt like the pick at the time, and im just hopeful he can do something when Wall comes back.

I remember seeing him at maryland and they beat unc or duke I cant remember and i knew he was going to be at least a decent nba player, not a bad player at all but I think he would fit better in a spurs or even a twolves system better than no.

it was Duke. What a game that was. :wow:

And Grevais cant shoot, but he can score because of his size and handling. Dude is a really nice player. You wont win anything with him as your starting point guard, but he is a really good complimentary piece.

he worked very hard on his game. Hugo Chavez must be :smugbiden: right now.

:pachaha: what happened?

my last year of med school at howard, a bunch of us would regularly roll over to college park to get at those young college tenderonis :shaq: (plus drinks cheap as shyt compared to the rape costs in DC)...dude is in there with a few other terp ballers...I'm chatting up this half black, half eastern european PYT that had me like :gladbron: ...he tries to step in and pull a robbery for a few minutes, so i give him the :wtb::childplease::birdman: and kept it moving with her at the other side of the bar looking back at him like :umad:. so once again :pacspit: at greivis vasquez

He had more than a few good spots when he was on the Grizz. I like his style he has heart and is aggressive. The only thing is that he thinks he is 10x the player that he really is. Once he stops trying to be the hero all the time he will be a much better player.
