@SirBiatch man you usually come harder with your science.. Ross overachieved nikka

I'm actually waiting on @SirBiatch to get back in here and explain himself

Aight breh, you asked for it :yeshrug:

Note: I normally don't entertain posters' requests to explain because 97% of them are full of shyt. I've elaborated on stuff countless times, only for the poster to go mute or deflect. The vast majority of people who quote me aren't looking for discussion - they're just quoting me because they're mad as shyt.
I'm entertaining this because your username is unfamiliar to me. I want you to address my points head-on.

Those tracks you posted are :trash:

Here are my problems with Rick Ross:
1.
99% of his beats are straight up snoozers. None of them are particularly interesting and they almost never go hard. It's just "glitzy", "look ma, expensive chandelier" music of the elevator variety. Diana Krall rap.

This is by far the best beat he ever rapped on.

You'll give me the :what: face but forget to notice that this beat actually goes hard and has a semi-mysterious vibe/energy to it that propels the song. Nevermind that somehow Ross convinced both Pharrell and Timbo to pose in his video and they didn't even make the beat.

Made by Saint Denson who also made the classic "Good Times" beat. Basically, it's an actual hip hop record. and not that quasi quiet-storm RnB muzak that litters dude's discog.

2.
His voice sucks. Doesn't carry any personality. "Being a boss" is not a personality. That's why he's always riding the guest wave: Drake, Jay-Z, Nas.

Rick Ross is the epitome of "hot by association" rapper.

Those are the main reasons. I haven't even touched on him being the definition of a fraud rapper and the definition of "image above all" artist. He is a walking image. Even Chief Keef's semi-autistic and dull ass makes slightly more interesting/bolder music than Ross.

Ross's production is bad?

His voice is bad ?

You sure you aren't reaching? His voice always meshed well with his production and his production has always been great..

Some people use to argue his production carried him?

Breh :mindblown:

Exactly, This is the reason why I only click on certain posts. The self-fulfilling hate of some people is a parasite in hiphop culture.
